Lip Lift (Bullhorn liplift)
Lip Lift is a plastic surgery procedure that corrects an unattractive distance between nostrils and lips.
Ideal attractive distance, which is measured between the middle of the nostrils and lips, is 1.5 cm in women and 1.7 in men.
The visibility of upper lips while speaking or while the mouth is slightly open is a sigh of a youthful and beautiful face.
A greater distance in this area often creates the so-called “strict, tight-mouth look.”
This procedure is therefore very suitable for older clients whose distance between nose and lips is unattractively extended due to ageing but also for younger clients who have a longer distance due to genetics.

Process of procedure
The plastic surgeon draws the surgery area and under local anesthetic carefully removes any excess skin.
After thoroughly ensuring that the position is esthetically balanced, the cut is sawn up. The scars are well hidden in the lines of the nostrils.
The procedure is painless as it is performed under a local anesthetic and the clients can see and evaluate the result for themselves even before the surgery is completed.
Method
This method naturally enlarges the upper lip, which “turns in” with ageing or is thin due to genetic predisposition.
Shortening the distance above the upper lift creates a nice change in the face – the lip and front teeth are put in a nice esthetic position, while the upper lip is naturally slightly enlarged. The face becomes more beautiful and youthful looking.
Convalescence
The procedure under local anesthetic lasts about 45 minutes and is painless.
You can return home immediately after the procedure. It is no problem for you to drive.
A slight swelling may last for about a week. The stiches are removed 5 -7 days after the procedure.
It is possible to use make-up after the removal of stiches.
This area usually heals very well and the scars become invisible after a short period.
